Well it went out on a good note on the last day of the shop. Had a bunch of good friends show up for some PBR's and fellowship. Thanks for everyone who supported us all these years in Allen County Indiana, and GOOD LUCK to these young men I have got to know working in the shops of Fort Wayne. Jack showed in record time to pick up the Triumph. He proceeded to kick start it and took it for a good sounding run. After sweating it out and fighting mosquitos we got it loaded up and headed to Texas. Got a awesome photo of my good friend Matt Keefe and his bride to be Alexa who is sporting my last tat at the shop and the end of a era at Device Tattoo.

MATT KEEFES BIKE LIVES!! & TRIUMPH TT HEADS TO THE LONE STAR STATE!
Another late night! Sure makes ya feel better when you get to hear them run for the first time. This 70's vintage chopper is awesome and runs like a scalded dog! It has a battery eliminator and fired up on the first few kicks, pretty cool for not having a battery. Well a Kindred spirit from Texas is coming to pick up my Triumph on Sunday, It it so cool when somebody appreciates the the time and fitting it takes to put one of these together. Matt lit up when his bike fired up, stuff like that makes it all worth while!

Been pretty busy finishing old projects, and catching up w old friends before we go to Alaska. Almost got Matts Triumph done, put in a few days in the high 90s heat. Had to go to Mindon Ohio to get a couple of parts for the hummer , and stopped by D&A Cycle salvage to say goodbye to my old friend Dave Kitson we have been doing business together for over thirty years, I even got him to stay still enough to get a picture of the legend himself.

TRIUMPH TT BOBBER ON EBAY
Just doing the finishing touches on the triumph. Just got back from a nice ride, this bike should run a long time having low compression pistons, and a oil filter. It is pretty easy to kick over, and will start first kick hot or cold. I am stoked that i have this blog to document this motor build for whomever is buying bike, I will use it
for future builds.

Finally got off my ass and started finishing this little hummer i have been putting off. Spent a lot of time on this little bugger. Did all the paint and prep myself. Tattooed my friends Kenny and Nick today had a blast!
This is a 1948 Harley-Davidson 125S , but is really a copy of a DKW German made bike. it has 50 over bore and has late model large size crank pin. Power output is just over 3 hp.
