I remember meeting Guy at Crazy Ace's tattoo Expo in Richmond 1989. I was blown away by his crazy clean colors in his tattoo work. He was in his mid twenties and had only been tattooing only a couple years and was working for Bob Olson at that time. A year later I got this killer alien tat at his upstairs shop on Broadway in Chicago. Guy knocked out this tat in 3 hours or less including the wash transitions into other tattooed areas. He used a original Pearcy Waters machine to do the rough outline then used a Dennis Dwyer Nail
to blast in the heavier lines. To Shade and color he used a Dwyer Machine with a stacked magnum. This tattoo was quickly in a issue of Skin Art Magazine and still amazes people how bright this tattoo is for being twenty five years old. Next post.. Aaron Cain Chestpiece on Dave Knox!
